Scott Blevin’s 58 Corvette

Scott and Kara Blevins had been looking for a first gen restomod Corvette for quite some time. They came close at Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale this year but the bidding got stupid high and Scott wisely backed off. After many hours perusing the internet for the ideal car, Scott came across a dealer in Florida who had a good candidate in stock. When Scott called he was informed that the car had just sold but after further discussion the dealer revealed that the builder had another car in process that Scott might be interested in. After seeing pics and a trip to Florida, Scott and Kara were sold. Interestingly, the builder is approximately 80 years old and builds Corvettes, one at a time, in his two car garage in Florida. If you ask the builder's wife, this is his last car. Ask the builder and you may get a different story. Bottom line is the finished product, a Frost Blue 58, is absolutely stunning.

Everything about this Corvette is custom. The car rides on a Corvette Correction chassis. The power plant is a LS3 pumping out approximately 430 HP. The rear end has 3:07 gears tied to a 4L 70 E automatic transmission. The car features a very cool electric hood opener. The interior sports Vintage Air, a Dakota Digital dash, an electric emergency brake, Lokar shifter and a beautifully supple corinthian white leather interior & wrapped steering wheel. Scott is already considering swapping out the custom rims for something with a more period look. According to Scott and Kara, the car is a pleasure to drive and they would not hesitate to take it anywhere. Congratulations to Scott and Kara on this stunning acquisition and we look forward to seeing it on the road!
