Scott Blevin’s 1962 Corvette

Scott Blevins acquired this beauty in March of this year from a dealer in Florida.  Scott had been looking for a C1 Corvette for quite some time and this 100% original Fawn Beige example caught his eye.  After having a trusted friend and fellow car enthusiast inspect the vehicle, Scott was able to cut a deal and get the C1 on an enclosed transporter bound for CA.  The car arrived in Angels Camp March 19th.  Since then it has been enjoyed by the Blevins on a regular basis.

The 62 was born with a 327 V8 and aluminum Borg-Warner T-10 4 speed manual transmission which it has retained.  The engine breathes through a stock Carter AFB 4 barrel carburetor and torque is delivered through the optional 3.36 Positraction rear differential. The white convertible top and Fawn Beige interior complement the exterior paint exquisitely.  The original window sticker, owners manual and warranty card were included in the sale, neat additions to any classic vehicle.

Keep your eyes peeled for this classic cruising around Murphys and Angels Camp as well as at upcoming car shows including the Ironstone Concours d'Elegance in September.  Scott and Kara plan on enjoying this classic ride for years to come.
