Dave Well’s Red 1956 Chevy 210

Dave Wells' beautiful 1956 Chevy 210, voted as the "Feature Car" at the April 2023 Cars & Coffee, has an interesting history.  Dave purchased the Chevy ten years ago from his friend Rick Hahn who at the time was the curator for Reggie Jackson's car collection.  Rick managed Reggie's storage facility and shop in Seaside, CA.

Years ago when some space in the shop became available Rick was able to slot in his own project with Reggie's approval, a 1956 210.  Dave got the pleasure of watching Rick bring this beauty back to life.  Rick drove the car for a bit and then the restored 210 went into long term storage.

After a couple years, Rick decided to pass the keys to his friend Dave.  Under Dave's tenure, the 210 has been treated to several upgrades including tuned port fuel injection, suspension mods, new wheels/tires and trim upgrades.  The 210's 350 power plant is backed by a 700R four speed automatic transmission.

This car will be on display in Dave's garage during the June 3rd Calaveras Cars & Coffee from 9-11am.  Enjoy!
